Louisiana State Police Crime Lab Sexual Assault Kit Tracking Program

Starting July 1, 2024, all Louisiana law enforcement will participate in the new Louisiana State Police Crime Lab sexual assault kit tracking program. All forensic medical exam kits completed after July 1, 2024 will be included in this new program. Sexual assault survivors will be able to track the location and status of their kits through the system. During this process, no identifiable information is collected, ensuring anonymity.
