Press Regarding Recent Lawsuit Filed Against School and Teacher for Grooming, Sexual Abuse

by Frank E. Lamothe, III

As mentioned in our previous blog, Lamothe Law Firm Files Lawsuit Against Middle School Teacher and School, our firm has filed a lawsuit on behalf of our client, Chloe Riviere, alleging that starting from the age of 11 she was groomed for sexual abuse by a teacher at The Willow School, formerly known as Lusher Charter School.

Here is some recent local press about that lawsuit:

Fox 8 Live, Fox 8 Staff: “Former Lusher Teacher Accused by Former Student of Sexual Abusing and Grooming Her”

WWL TV, David Hammer: “‘He stole 13 years from me’: Former Lusher student accuses teacher of grooming, sexual abuse. The former student, Chloe Riviere, now 26 and living in Baton Rouge, says the teacher, Ed Cerrone, began having sex with her when she was 17.”

Times Picayune/Advocate, Marie Fazio and David Hammer: “Lawsuit Accuses Former Lusher Teacher of Grooming, Molestation Over Period of Years. Former student who filed suit says ex-teacher ‘stole 13 years from me.'”
