The ABOTA Foundation has been instrumental in the renovations of two Berber village primary schools in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco over the past three years.
The latest ABOTA Foundation project was to build and furnish a dormitory to serve girls so that they can continue their education at the high school level. Because of the poverty and culture in the area, Berber Moroccan girls are forced to end their education at the sixth grade level. This construction has been completed and the new dormitory will be dedicated on October 31, 2016. Now that there will be a safe facility for them to live near the only high school, Berber girls will be able to extend their education and opportunities.
