Kris Losee believes wholeheartedly in the importance of outstanding plaintiff advocacy. As Lamothe’s legal administrator and in conjunction with the firm’s mission, Kris remains dedicated to protecting the underdog and supporting justice for those who have been wronged. She plays a critical role in the firm’s office administration, operations, and marketing.
Overseeing Lamothe’s administrative functions, including accounting, human resources, and marketing, she also serves as the liaison between the lawyers and support staff and conducts new client intake. In everything she does, Kris strives to ensure a collaborative and inclusive law firm culture where professionals at all levels are valued and respected as critical members of the client team.
Kris is passionate about her work and takes pride in knowing that she makes a difference in the lives of those who have been wronged. She is valued for her attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. Kris’s dedication to her colleagues and firm clients makes her an invaluable asset to everyone around her.
Practical in everything she does, she believes in streamlining processes and protocols to conserve client resources without losing sight of the human element of plaintiff-side advocacy. She consistently supports and reinforces the firm’s commitment to providing outstanding work product at every turn and in real-time. Kris goes out of her way to understand the distinct needs of her colleagues and foster a work environment known not only for not only a deep bench of capability and unprecedented know-how in the law, but also one that is compassionate, kind, responsive, and fair.
Kris has worked as the firm’s legal administrator since 1988. She studied Accounting and Business Administration at Tulane University and the University of New Orleans. In 2005, Kris passed a rigorous exam given by the Association of Legal Administrators and achieved Certified Legal Manager status.
In her spare time, Kris enjoys reading, movies, and yoga, and works with several animal rescue groups.
