Grace is the Case Development Specialist at Lamothe Law Firm. With a deep sense of empathy and humility, she provides trauma-informed support to our clients as they seek justice, healing, and a chance to move forward after experiencing sexual abuse. She uses her sharp analytical skills to assist the firm’s attorneys in case development by conducting investigative interviews and gathering documentary evidence. She aims to meet every client with compassion and respect so that they feel heard, valued, and empowered at every stage of their case.
Before joining the Lamothe team, she developed her trauma-informed perspective over the course of five years working as a victim advocate at a rape crisis center, starting as a volunteer before joining the staff. Grace has also made trauma care and violence prevention the focus of her academic efforts: in addition to her work at the firm, she is currently pursuing dual Master of Social Work (MSW) and Master of Public Health (MPH) degrees at Tulane University. In recognition of her professional experience and commitment to supporting survivors of sexual violence, she is a recipient of the Pincus Violence Prevention Scholarship through Tulane’s Violence Prevention Institute.
